During the Maui Retreat, I envisioned a black spider with upside-down “V” legs, morphing into a radiant purple sun, then a purple man with a headdress, a lion’s face, and waves of purple and crimson. On my last day in Maui, I saw Kale’s tattoo of the exact spider—symbolizing creation—then pulled a card of a baby emerging from the birth canal, affirming creativity.
